Facilities
The school has well equipped laboratories for Chemistry and Physics and an Air-conditioned laboratory for computer studies. In addition we have an audio-visual room, where the students of all classes from Std. I to X meet regularly once a week to view the syllabus based programmes in various subjects such as Science, Maths, English, Geography and Value Education. This audio-visual education makes learning very interesting and effective.
Library
The School has set up a separate library cum reading room named as Sir K.P. Library, supported by Sir Kikabhai Premchand Trust Settlement. The library provides ample of reference material and access to Internet facility which is open to even college students.
The facility of reading room is extended to the students residing in the vicinity at a nominal cost. The students appearing for various examinations such as Engineering, C.A., Management do take advantage of this facility.
The library has a good collection of books in Gujarati literature besides the subjects of science, environment, geography, sports, counselling, maths and computer science.
Guidance and Counselling Centre
The School has started the guidance and counseling center with effect from June 2005 where a senior counselor is available every week to guide and counsel the students regarding their problem, educational or otherwise. The center also conducts. Workshops on study skills, Life Skills, Capacity building, Handling Depression, Stress Management, Parenting Youth, Career Counseling as well as Aptitude and Personality Testing.
Type of services provided by the Guidance and Counselling Centre
- Educational Counselling: The counsellor’s primary concern is to assist students in setting educational goals, exploring alternatives and making decisions regarding their academic programs.
- Career Counselling: closely related to educational decisions are considerations of their career. The counsellor provides information about career fields in relation to their interests, abilities and aid them in decision making process.
- Personal Counselling: The service is provided to help students in crisis situations. Students are provided with an opportunity to talk openly and confidentally with the counsellors. Efforts are made to assist students reduce personal problems that affect their academic performance.
