The Curriculum offered is correlated within the framework of the syllabus laid down by the State Education Dept. the Secondary Board of Education. Education is at three levels – Pre School, Primary and Secondary. The Pre-School Education is three years programme where the child is admitted at the age of 2 ½ years. During this formative period of a child, which is the most important period the focus is not on reading and writing but socialization where the child learns mostly through senses. This system of education is more a play way method and emphasizes more interactive learning which includes art and craft, music, games, painting, stories, excursions and sports.

The Pre-School interactive Learning Centre of The Modern School provides ample opportunities for children to explore, experiment and learn through fun. The Centre provides comfortable, homely and friendly atmosphere, where a child feels free to play, learn and enjoy in safe and secure environment.

Salient features of the Centre

• Nutritious Snacks: To inculcate healthy eating habits, the Centre provides nutritious and health supplements to its toddlers twice a week.
  
  
• Excursions: Educational excursions to various places as Parks, Zoo, Museum and various factories are organized to give them knowledge.
  
  
• Gymnastics: Aerobics and fitness exercises provided to them through child friendly equipments.
  
  
• Audio Visual: Audio Visual education is provided to children regularly.
  
  
• Library: A good library with ample books is an added attraction.
  
  
• Medical Check Up: Free medical check up is organized with the help of team of doctors and counselling is provide to the parents.

On completion of pre-primary stage, the child is ready to enter a four year programme of primary education introducing graded syllabus. The fundamentals of formal education followed by six years of secondary education  prepares them for the Secondary School Certificate Examination and qualifies them to enter institutions of higher learning.

During these six years of Secondary Education the student learns four languages Gujarati, English, Hindi, Marathi and French is offered as an optional language in English Medium. Besides the four languages the student learns science I and  II, History, Civics, Social Studies, Geography and Maths including Algebra – Geometry. In addition there are certain graded subjects focusing on Value education, General Knowledge, Physical Education. Yoga, Drawing, Music, Dance and Computer Studies. Thus the curriculum includes all the subjects which are important for the overall development of the  personality of the student.
